The American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory, or personal purposes. This course teaches critical skills to respond to and manage first aid, choking, and sudden cardiac arrest emergencies in adults, children, and infants.

Ready Set Rescue proudly offers this life-saving course in a supportive, hands-on environment led by certified instructors.

🧠 What You’ll Learn

• First Aid Basics: Scene safety, assessing a victim, calling for help

• Medical Emergencies: Breathing problems, seizures, diabetes, allergic reactions

• Injury Emergencies: Bleeding control, broken bones, burns, bites, and stings

• Environmental Emergencies: Heat and cold-related issues, poison exposure

• CPR & AED Use: Hands-on practice for adults, children, and infants, including rescue breaths, compressions, and AED operation

• Choking Relief: For responsive and unresponsive individuals of all ages

⏱️ Course Length

• Approx. 5.5 hours (includes instruction, practice, and skills testing)

💻 Format Options

• Classroom-Based (fully in-person)

• Blended Learning (online learning module completed before attending in-person skills session)
  Note: Students choosing blended learning must complete the online portion prior to class.

• 2-Year American Heart Association Certification

• Course completion card provided digitally via email within 24–48 hours after successful completion
